Voluntary work
Ear Camp, Rajesthan, India December 2002
This annual Ear Camp provides Otology services to a population of 150,000 villagers whom otherwise would not have access to such services. I was a member of a team of eight surgeons who, with the help of two anaesthetists and two audiologists, assessed approximately 800 patients and carried out 78 ear operations.
This is an area of my work that I would like to expand on, and I would appreciate some communication from organisations that are in need of ENT surgeons for humanitarian visits. Due to work and family commitments I am only available for two weeks a year.
